UPDATES
Big news! We’re building our beta platform next week! You asked for it, so we’re making it, using our savings :0 :’) (because we want something that WORKS and is FAIR). We’re starting small, upgrading our current prototype (ew gross we know) so you can create and update profiles and services. Our first focus is PAYMENT SECURITY—guaranteeing clients pay and creatives show up, so the money is secure and creatives get paid. Let us know what you think!
We’re tired but doing great! CounterCult is for everyone who wants to connect with the creative world. BUT are we bad creatives for not posting on social media daily? We don’t think so. Our priority is getting PAID so we can create more. Social media rarely pays, so we use it to SHARE RESOURCES, BUILD COMMUNITY, and FEATURE CREATIVES—not as a full business tool (many creatives get shadowbanned, and the return isn’t worth the effort).

Speaking of shadowbanned creatives, here is one of our very own creatives, ILAY, that has recently been shadowbanned due to showing too much skin in photos they post. As a tattoo artist. Sort of a catch-22. But their work is beyond amazing, they are based in Berlin, from Turkey, and often travel! Check out their work below.
