For those of you that are curious and who don’t know me, I’m Sho- a painter (here’s proof) who got tired of the status quo creative industries, and decided to share my findings, updates, and opportunities with you all. I couldn’t do it without you all sharing different things that have worked for you to make sure that our community gets the best!
This newsletter is curated by creatives, to share with everyone. So if you have anything that you’d like to submit in terms of opportunities, events, etc, please fill out the form at the end.
Updates
First off- WOW! Thank you for all the new readers here! I wasn’t expecting our subscriptions to more than double since our last post. I’ve actually been on the road in a cross country road trip from NYC to Seattle right as I’m typing this, literally finding new things for us all as I go. So hello from Wyoming! I saw tons of Bison! Here’s our updates from CounterCult from the past two weeks:
NYC Pop-up: We had a mini networking in NYC last week, where we met to go to some underground gallery openings in Chelsea during NYC x DESIGN week, check our insta to see some previews of how it went!
Local Creative Database: We are looking for funding so we can update our online database of local creatives so you can all find a book each other in one place in a secure way. But until we have that, we are starting to add new creatives to our existing prototype here. Apply through our OPEN CALL to be considered.
Thanks again! We can’t believe our numbers have more than doubled since our last post, and our instagram is growing at a very nice rate! Thanks to you all, it’s been a great early start for us.
